Valentine’s Day is a little less than a month away. It will be here before you know it! Being a mom, its sometimes hard to come up with cute gift ideas that aren’t candy and that are not going to break the bank either. I was researching for my own babes for Valentines’ gift ideas and came across so many unique ideas. I thought to myself, I bet other moms are feeling or doing the same thing. Here is a Valentine’s gift idea post with lots of different options. Candy is usually the go to gift or a heart shaped box of some sort. But this year, I wanted to give something different. Something that my kids would utilize longer than the time it takes to consume a piece of chocolate. The Land of Nod has a ton of cute items, like this pink ombre canopy and this playhouse! Of course, there are a ton more fun items but I thought these wouldn’t break the bank! 😉
One consistent item that every kid loves to play with, no matter the age, are blocks! Building blocks are a great gift idea for Valentine’s Day and it helps with gross motor skills and problem solving for your little one. Even my husband likes to build blocks with the kids! Maybe I should get him some for Valentine’s Day lol ;). Target and Amazon are great for these exact items. This 100 piece colorful block set is a great option for your child and has so many sizes and variations of blocks. If you are looking for something smaller in quantity, this wooden click blocks building set would be amazing!
Chocolate for Valentine’s Day is a traditional gift idea. Why not think outside of the box and get something for your babes that they can enjoy for many more years to come. I love chocolate, and you definitely will not see me pass any up. But, my kids would definitely appreciate a fun toy to help stretch their minds and become imaginative than eat a piece of chocolate. Valentine’s Day is not a huge holiday like Christmas. But it is a wonderful day and a reminder to love and to be loved. I hope these options for Valentine’s Day gift ideas help you think outside the box from the traditional gift of chocolate. Below, I have linked some of the gift ideas above and included more options for Valentine’s Day gift ideas.
Hope you have a great rest of your day, and thanks for stopping by!
